Welcome to the RAGAMUFFINS FC

If you thought great inter-generational, multi-national pick-up soccer was no more, you haven't met the Ragamuffins!

This Club in Toronto, Canada, has been in existence since the early 1980s, and it is still going strong.

We let neither age nor lack of skill interfere with our enjoyment on the soccer pitch and at the coffee shop after the game.

Our Philosophy

We believe in team play and cameraderie. The better players help out the weaker ones, and we always try to balance the sides in terms of skill and age.

We play hard, but we don't take it too seriously. When it stops being fun, we'll quit. And we don't care who's watching....

Our Motto

Of course, our philosophy is expressed most succinctly in the club motto. Mottos, as everyone knows, are supposed to be in Latin, to ensure being taken seriously.

The Ragamuffins FC motto derives from the words of the Latin sage Caput Vacans.
